FLX devices are 3D-printed, porous-titanium implants that feature a solid exoskeleton for added strength, along with a radiolucent lattice scaffold designed to reduce mechanical stiffness and enhance intra-operative visualization and post-operative fusion assessment, as compared to solid titanium implants. The FLX implants feature a proprietary FUSE-THRU™ trabecular scaffold, bioengineered to allow the potential for bony on-growth and in-growth throughout the implant. This unique porous structure is designed to promote the healing process and fusion through enhanced cellular attachment and proliferation. Within the last several months, Centinel Spine has launched four unique FLX Integrated Interbody™ and non-integrated interbody devices for cervical and lumbar fusion.
