FastMD Racing has announced that Dr. William Tally and Mikey Taylor will pilot the team’s second Audi RS 3 LMS TCR in this week’s BMW Endurance Challenge at Daytona International Speedway.
It will mark the first season of IMSA competition for Tally, an orthopedic surgeon Athens Orthopedic Clinic.
“This is a dream come true for me”, he said. “To be competing at this level after just two years of racing just blows my mind. I’m ready for the challenges that will come before me in my first season in the Michelin Pilot Challenge.”
Tally is slated for a seven-raced campaign in the No. 32 Audi TCR, which is sponsored by Centinel Spine.
“In 2010, I Suffered a herniated disc in my neck which required surgery,” he explained. “Due to my training and experience, I had tremendous insight into the treatment options. I chose to have a disc arthroplasty using Centinel spine technology.
“After making a full recovery, I have been able to resume my very active lifestyle, most recently including a motor sports career.
“Our team is here to spread the word about the novel technology of Centinel spine, the clinical services provided by FastMd, along with my story of not simply tolerating a spinal injury requiring surgery, but thriving.”
